Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks a Vendor Manager to support the pharmacy division's vendor portfolio by onboarding and managing value-driven partnerships. You will ensure outsourced relationships deliver value, monitor performance, and help drive contract-aligned outcomes through data and collaboration with internal teams.

The role requires strong relationship management, analytics and the ability to coordinate across business units to resolve issues and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in a related field.
• In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationship between business and vendor(s) to ensure delivery of outsourced services.
• Serve as primary liaison between vendor and business stakeholders; provide performance updates and remediate escalations.
• Facilitate vendor onboarding through communications, site visits and training; transition processes and operations.
• Define business requirements with stakeholders and work with vendor to improve capabilities.
• Identify performance gaps and drive improvements through training and interventions.
• Review vendor work for quality and manage service improvement plans.
• Contribute inputs to vendor contract negotiations to align with business strategy.
• Collaborate with internal partners on vendor strategy with data-driven feedback.
