Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Vendor Manager to support the pharmacy division's vendor management portfolio by implementing and managing value-driven partnerships. You will oversee onboarding, performance reporting, and issue resolution to ensure contracts deliver expected value.

As a liaison between vendors and internal teams, you will analyze performance, address gaps, and contribute to contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 3+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationship between business and vendor to ensure delivery of outsourced services.
• Primary liaison between vendor and business stakeholders for performance updates and escalations.
• Facilitate vendor onboarding with training and site visits.
• Define business requirements and work with vendor to improve capabilities.
• Analyze performance gaps and address them through improvements and training.
• Review vendor work for quality and manage improvement plans.
• Provide inputs to vendor contract negotiations aligned to business strategy.
• Collaborate with internal partners on vendor strategy using data and feedback.
