Job summary

City National Bank seeks a Vendor Onboarding Specialist to manage enterprise-wide third party onboarding evaluations and ongoing engagements. You will collaborate with multiple internal teams to streamline onboarding, ensure risk controls, and accelerate contract processes.

This role supports CNB and affiliates across the organization. The ideal candidate has deep experience in third party risk management within financial services, strong project management, and clear communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years of third party risk management experience in the financial services industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of risk and controls identification and assurance testing.
• Minimum of 2 years working with a GRC system.
• Industry recognized third party risk management or vendor management certification.
• Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onboarding of third party risk requests and coordinate with Vendor Risk Specialist and Strategic Sourcing.
• Act as liaison to align business priorities with suppliers and new services/engagements.
• Coordinate with internal areas (InfoSec, ERM, Business Continuity, Procurement, Data Governance, Legal, DR) to expedite onboarding.
• Document streamlined onboarding paths including vendor registration and required documentation.
• Review requests for new/renewal contracts and plan expedited signing.
• Measure onboarding progress against Key Risk Indicators and report.
• Provide training on third party onboarding best practices.
• Escalate delays and issues to management and drive resolution.
• Support ad hoc projects and process improvements.
