Job summary

Intesa Sanpaolo seeks a VRM Associate in New York to support the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of the bank’s Third Party / Vendor Risk Management Program. You will oversee onboarding, risk assessments, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, issue management and offboarding within a regulated financial services environment.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to ensure third-party relationships are assessed and managed per internal policies and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in third-party risk management, vendor management, or related control function.
• Knowledge of TPRM principles and lifecycle processes.
• Understanding of risk assessment methodologies and control frameworks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in regulated financial-services environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the third-party onboarding process.
• Lead initial third-party risk assessments.
• Collect, review, and maintain due diligence documentation.
• Evaluate third parties based on risk categories.
• Obtain required approvals before onboarding third-party services.
• Identify gaps or exceptions during onboarding.
• Conduct periodic and event-driven risk assessments.
• Monitor third-party risk profiles and risk ratings.
• Track reviews, assessments, and documentation.
• Monitor KPIs and KRIs; track emerging risks.
• Oversee third-party offboarding and asset return/destruction.
