Job summary

Farmers & Merchants State Bank seeks a Business Continuity and Vendor Management Coordinator to oversee vendor due diligence, monitoring, and contract leverage across business units. The role supports BCP maintenance, risk assessments, and recovery planning in coordination with IT and operations teams.

Ideal candidates bring banking-related vendor experience and strong knowledge of BCP/DR testing, with the ability to read complex contracts and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree / 4-year degree is required or 3-5 years of experience in a position with a related skillset.
• Preferred banking experience (3-5 years) with 1-3 years in Vendor Management and 1-3 years in BCP/DR planning.
• Basic understanding of computer networks and server infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal and external vendor relations and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with IT and operations to ensure vendor contracts are leveraged.
• Maintain documentation in the platform and report monthly on out-of-scope items.
• Conduct BCP plan maintenance, risk assessments, and testing results.
• Coordinate recovery strategies with department teams and audit/compliance findings.
