Job summary

Farmers & Merchants State Bank is seeking a Vendor & BCP Coordinator to support business continuity planning and vendor management across units. You will coordinate with IT and business leaders, manage vendor relationships, and ensure policy compliance within the BCP framework.

Responsibilities include using vendor management tools for due diligence, risk assessment, contract leverage, and monthly reporting on activity. A related degree or 3–5 years in banking/vendor management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years in a related skillset is required.
• Preferred banking experience 3–5 years with 1–3 years in vendor management and 1–3 years in BCP/DR.
• Basic to working knowledge of computer networks and server infrastructure.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use vendor management software to ensure due diligence, risk assessment, and vendor monitoring.
• Assist in tracking, measuring, and reporting vendor performance.
• Collaborate with IT and operations to ensure contract leverage and vendor management.
• Maintain and monitor contractual agreements for all vendors.
• Support BCP maintenance including BIA, risk assessments, and BRP.
