Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Supplier Enablement & Onboarding Specialist in McLean, VA to maintain vendor master data and drive enablement processes within the ESM Operations team. You will review requests to add/modify supplier profiles, perform compliance checks, and enable suppliers on Coupa.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in procurement or supply chain ops, experience with Coupa/PeopleSoft, and strong communication to collaborate with internal customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in customer service or equivalent role.
• 1+ year experience with Google Suite.
• 1+ year experience in Corporate Procurement or Supply Chain Ops (preferred).
• 1+ year experience with enterprise procurement systems like Coupa/PeopleSoft (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication, vendor relationship skills, and collaboration in diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and process requests to add/modify supplier information in the vendor master.
• Perform compliance vetting (tax, sanction, risk checks) and vendor research.
• Provide high-touch enablement to suppliers on Coupa procurement platform.
• Lead process improvements and act as change agent within ESM Ops.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
