Job summary

Capital One is seeking an Associate, Supply Chain to manage supplier onboarding, maintenance, and enablement within the Enterprise Supplier Management operations. The role reviews requests to add or modify supplier profiles in the vendor master, ensuring data accuracy and compliance across multiple platforms.

The position emphasizes partnering with internal customers and vendors, driving continuous process improvements, and delivering high-touch support to suppliers on Coupa.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Customer Service.
• At least 1 year of experience with Google Suite.
• 1+ years of experience in Corporate Procurement or Supply Chain Ops.
• 1+ years of experience with Enterprise Financial and Procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, PeopleSoft)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a track record of building positive vendor relationships
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a diverse, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and process requests to add or modify supplier information in the vendor master database to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Perform required compliance vetting (e.g., tax, sanction, and risk checks) and conduct payables or vendor-related research.
• Provide high‑touch support to enable suppliers on procurement platforms, specifically Coupa.
• Act as a change agent by challenging the status quo, disrupting inefficient processes, and leading process improvement initiatives within the ESM Ops value stream.
• Identify innovative solutions to resolve complex system and operational challenges across multiple platforms.
• Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal customers, vendors, and cross‑functional leadership to inform and influence positive outcomes.
