Job summary

Medline in Chicago seeks a Vendor Data Analyst to ensure vendor data and Medline data stay in sync by overseeing and analyzing dozens of data points and reports. You will exercise judgment and problem-solving to resolve discrepancies with material financial impact.

The role requires strong data analysis skills, Excel proficiency, and collaboration with Vendor Relations, Finance, and Inventory teams. Bachelor’s degree is required; SAP and Zendesk familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, analyzing large data sets, and meeting competing deadlines without compromising quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute item creation(s), maintenance, discontinuation(s), and reactivation(s).
• Coordinate vendor mergers and analysis of daily discrepancy reports.
• Investigate vendor files/communications for needed changes.
• Oversee acquisition and base cost pricing with high attention to detail.
• Reconcile discrepancies affecting vendor and customer relationships in a timely manner.
• Evaluate vendor adherence to distribution agreements and negotiate effective dates.
• Submit process improvement recommendations to management.
• Maintain shared mailboxes and respond to requests promptly.
• Establish relationships with Vendor Relations, Vendor Representatives, Quality, Finance, Contracts, Inventory Management and other personnel.
