Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Vendor Oversight Professional to manage an existing network of third‑party service providers, ensuring ongoing compliance with company policies and state/federal laws. You will review documentation, monitor contracts, and escalate issues to leadership while maintaining strong vendor relationships and accurate records.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, ability to work independently in a regulated environment, and proficiency with MS Office

Qualifications

• Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter willing to take-on tasks with minimal supervision and deliver results.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a complex environment and regulatory conditions.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess large volumes of documentation for vendor annual reviews per regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and perform first-level reviews of vendor compliance documents across lifecycle.
• Escalate risks and maintain oversight of an assigned pool of third-party vendors.
• Process inquiries and maintain timely vendor notifications and communications.
• Coordinate vendor invoices and ensure records in the vendor management system are current.
• Escalate unresolved issues to leadership promptly.
• Conduct due diligence for new vendors prior to approval through formal processes.
• Provide status updates to vendors and stakeholders via reports.
• Review FNMA/FHLMC documentation for compliance and update systems accordingly.
• Track site audit exceptions and remediation actions, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Support vendor communication requests and gather required acknowledgments.
• Research potential new vendors to meet onboarding needs.
• Log consumer complaints and coordinate remediation with business areas.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
