Job summary

The incumbent will implement regulatory compliance activities for the Mobile Sources Control Program's Inspection Maintenance Division and handle related administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of engineering or architectural experience in pollution control, waste remediation, resource conservation, environmental protection, or public health and safety.
• At least two years’ experience with State Inspection and Maintenance (I/M) Programs.
• At least one year experience in leading and coordinating personnel.
• Valid Maryland motor vehicle operator's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) and its design.
• Lead quality assurance, compliance auditing, and equipment certification.
• Supervise skilled and professional staff and coordinate personnel.
• Implement regulatory compliance activities for the Inspection Maintenance Division.
• Manage administrative duties for the Mobile Sources Control Program components.
