Job summary

Castle VW of Schaumburg is seeking a Vehicle Upgrade Coordinator to bridge service and sales, encouraging customers to trade in for newer models. You’ll engage with customers who visit for service and present upgrade options tailored to their needs.

You will coordinate appointments, manage follow-ups in the dealership CRM, and work with sales to convert upgrade opportunities. A focus on customer engagement and product knowledge is essential.

Vehicle Upgrade Coordinator

At Castle VW of Schaumburg, we are hiring a Vehicle Upgrade Coordinator. In this role, you’ll bridge service and sales with the goal of encouraging existing customers to upgrade their current vehicle to a newer one.

Vehicle Upgrade Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Works directly with customers who bring their vehicles in for service to identify opportunities to talk about upgrading to a newer model
• Builds rapport and explains the benefits of upgrading (e.g., newer features, better financing, trade-in equity)
• Presents tailored offers based on customer needs and dealership programs
• Acts as a liaison between the service and sales teams to capture upgrade leads from service customers and hand them off to sales consultants
• Coordinates appointments, follow-ups, and communicates opportunities to the rest of the sales staff
• Uses the dealership’s CRM and data systems to track leads, schedule follow-ups, and manage customer information
• Stays up to date on vehicle inventory, manufacturer incentives, and current sales specials

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• Previous experience in automotive sales, customer service, and/or in a dealership upgrade role
• Strong understanding of automotive sales and service operations
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate between departments
• Comfort withCRM software and dealership management systems
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
