Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of experience in DMV/MVD operations or similar.
• Experience with tag agencies, dealership title operations, and automotive lending is preferred.
• Ability to interpret state lien regulations and apply them to processes.

Responsibilities

• Review vehicle loan documents to determine lien perfection requirements.
• Prepare and submit required lien documentation to DMVs, tag agencies, and other authorities.
• Research and resolve title, registration, and lien issues with dealers, DMV, and financial institutions.
• Monitor lien perfection exceptions and mitigate risk.
• Verify receipt of original documents for consumer loans and file UCC statements as needed.
• Process lien releases in accordance with procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to correct deficiencies and obtain missing information.
• Submit collateral-related documents for recording in the proper jurisdiction.
• Maintain accurate records and follow up on outstanding items.
