Job summary

Halfords Group PLC is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our Autocentres team in Warrington. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and undertake a wide range of maintenance and repair work, ensuring high-quality service and vehicle safety.

The role offers a base salary (£34k-£43,570), uncapped bonus scheme with average £6,800 extra per year, and opportunities for training and development within Halfords’ extensive network.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Valid MOT Testing Licence
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician or MOT tester

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work
• From diagnostics and repairs to routine services, ensure every job is performed to a high standard
