Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join the Fleet Operations team in East Liberty, OH. The role involves performing maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and readiness inspections to ensure vehicles operate safely on the road.

You will coordinate service with engineering, document findings, and support shop operations while traveling for local demonstrations and tests. Strong communication, a self-starter attitude, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of vehicle technician experience with strong automotive knowledge.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Forklift certification in compliance with safety standards.
• Ability to pass background checks, motor vehicle record checks, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and readiness inspections for safe operation.
• Coordinate service and repair activities with engineering teams and the Shop Foreman.
• Maintain accurate service records, diagnostic reports, and documentation.
• Support shop operations by maintaining tools, equipment, facilities, and parts inventory.
• Assist with vehicle demonstrations, testing activities, and local travel as needed.

Our client, an automotive engineering and fleet operations organization, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be part of the Fleet Operations team supporting Engineering, Testing, and Vehicle Readiness teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a self-starter mentality, and a collaborative team-oriented approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Vehicle Technician

Location: East Liberty, OH

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Pay Range: $40.00 - $46.00/hour (DOE)

What’s the Job?

• Perform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and readiness inspections to ensure safe on-road operation.
• Coordinate vehicle service and repair activities while collaborating with engineering teams and the Shop Foreman.
• Maintain accurate service records, diagnostic reports, and quality documentation.
• Support shop operations by maintaining tools, equipment, facilities, and parts inventory.
• Assist with vehicle demonstrations, testing activities, and occasional local travel to support fleet operations.

What’s Needed?

• 2+ years of vehicle technician experience with strong automotive maintenance and repair knowledge.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Current and valid forklift operator certification compliant with applicable safety standards.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening, and lift up to 50 lbs.
