Job summary

RJI Search seeks Vehicle Technicians in Las Vegas, NV to perform hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and fleet reworks for our clients' vehicle testing operations.

You will collaborate with the Shop Foreman and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, coordinate repairs, and maintain detailed service records while keeping the workshop organized. A strong mechanical/electrical background and a clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive technician experience in maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.
• Experience in dealership or OEM environment (ideally).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with deep knowledge of vehicle systems, tools, parts, and repair techniques.
• Very comfortable performing automotive electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to document service work clearly and accurately.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR, background check, and drug screening.
• Able to obtain forklift/gantry certification post-hire (Cal/OSHA compliance).
• Client provides this certification.
• Experience in automotive R&D or engineering lab environments (dyno, battery testing, etc.)
• Familiarity with CAN systems, wiring diagrams, and soldering
• Technical trade school certification or associate degree in automotive repair
• High voltage battery experience or certification

We are seeking Vehicle Technicians with hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and fleet reworks for our clients fleet of vehicles. You will work closely with the Shop Foreman and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, coordinate repairs, diagnostics and repair electrical components, and support continuous vehicle improvement.

You'll also help develop diagnostic test plans, maintain detailed service records, and keep the workshop organized, including tools and parts inventory. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where your work directly supports vehicle testing operations.

We're looking for someone with automotive technician experience, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and a clean driving record who can manage multiple priorities in a hands-on shop setting.

Nice-to-have experience includes automotive R&D or lab environments, CAN systems, wiring diagrams, soldering, and trailer towing experience, along with relevant technical training or certifications.
