Qualifications

An on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire an engineering-focused Vehicle Technician to support the readiness of its fleet vehicles.

In this role, you will perform maintenance, repairs, and fleet reworks and contribute towards the operations of our workshop. This will include scheduled/preventative maintenance and services, diagnostics, repair coordination, and general upkeep of vehicles.

We're looking for someone with extensive knowledge of the maintenance and repair of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of prior technician experience.

Available Shifts:

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday

3:00 PM – 11:30 PM: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday

Requirements
  • Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles Minimum of 2 - 4 years of technician experience Must have a valid driver's license with a clean/excellent driving record. Reliable, self-starter, roll-up-the-sleeves work ethos Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deliverables Team player Excellent written and verbal skills Must be honest, responsible and an outstanding communicator Pass a background check, MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check, and drug screen. Must comply with the Substance Abuse Policy. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit/stand for extended periods (8+ hours) depending on the equipment type. Forklift and/or gantry operation is required: Current and valid forklift operator certification compliant with Cal/OSHA standards.
