ManpowerGroup is partnering with a leading autonomous vehicle company to hire a Vehicle Technician in Atlanta, GA. You will configure, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles to ensure safe on‑road readiness, with local travel to perform essential maintenance.

The role blends hands‑on technical work with collaboration across engineering and operations, requiring strong mechanical aptitude and a focus on safety and quality. A forklift certification and driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of technician experience in automotive or related fields.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and forklift operator certification.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on‑road usage.
• Travel locally to perform vehicle readiness and maintenance work.
• Coordinate with Shop Foreman to keep vehicles ready for demonstrations and testing.
• Perform diagnostics and escalate issues to engineering when required.
• Maintain service records, document quality field reports, and assist with parts inventory and shop organization.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a critical role in configuring, maintaining, and diagnosing fleet vehicles to ensure readiness for safe on‑road usage. This position blends hands‑on technical execution with collaboration across engineering and operations, supporting both lab and field environments. • Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on‑road usage.
• Travel locally as needed to perform vehicle readiness and maintenance work.
• Sync with the Shop Foreman to ensure all vehicles are in a "ready" state for demonstrations and testing.
• Perform diagnostics and elevate issues to the appropriate engineering team when required.
• Maintain service records, document quality field reports, and assist with parts inventory and shop organization.

• Extensive knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of technician experience in automotive or related fields.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and current forklift operator certification compliant with Cal/OSHA standards.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently, multi-task, and collaborate as a team player.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit or stand for extended periods depending on equipment type.
