Job summary

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications are essential; time served experience is highly regarded.
• IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is advantageous.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• A motivated team player with commitment to quality workmanship.
• Training available for MOT testing licence and related qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles.
• Accurately diagnose faults and report findings to the Workshop Manager.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and company procedures.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and work to high-quality standards.
• Maintain a high level of productivity and work efficiently within team targets.
• Assist with basic vehicle inspections and MOT testing (training provided if necessary).

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles
