Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a busy Oxford/ Abingdon workshop. The role offers a competitive basic salary up to £40,000 with bonus and overtime (OTE £48k+), and requires you to work Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturdays.

You will join a modern, manufacturer approved workshop emphasizing training and development. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a workshop, Level 2 in LVMR or equivalent, strong mechanical skills, and a reliable attendance record with own

Qualifications

• At least one year's experience in a workshop environment.
• Minimum Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Own a well stocked toolbox appropriate for workshop duties.
• Reliable work history with consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and perform fault finding.
• Repair and replace brakes, suspension, and clutch components.
• Cambelt replacement.
