Responsibilities

• Issue license plates, permits, registrations, certificates, etc.
• Receive, research and respond to incoming questions or complaints; explain policy and procedures, and facilitate a resolution.
• Process transactions at a Point of Sale system, give correct change and close cash drawer at the end of shift.
• Assist the public and others to complete forms, applications and other paperwork.
• Examine documents to verify applicability, legibility, completeness, accuracy, and consistency of information.
• Communicate information clearly in writing and verbally; read and understand information.
• Perform comprehensive physical inspection of motor vehicles to verify VIN.
