MVED Clerical Support position with Utah State Tax Commission is an in-office role in Salt Lake City. You will support the Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division in licensing, registrations, and customer assistance, working with a team in a fast-paced environment.

The Utah State Tax Commission’s Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division (MVED) is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to fill its MVED Clerical Support Technician position. This person will play an integral role in Division’s mission to assist clientele with business licensing questions. You must be current on your state and federal tax filings and pass a criminal background check.
This position’s working hours are Monday through Friday (8:00 am - 5:00pm). This is an in-office working position, located at the Utah State Tax Commission building 210 N 1950 W SLC, UT.
Salary will start at $19.68/hour, DHRM rules apply for promotions/transfers.
Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
