Salary – $15.47 - $27.34 Hourly Wage

  • Issue license plates, permits, registrations, certificates, etc.

  • Receive, research and respond to incoming questions or complaints; provide information, explain policy and procedures, and/or facilitate a resolution.

  • Process transactions at a Point of Sale system, give correct change and close cash drawer at the end of shift.

  • Assist the public and others to complete forms, applications and other paperwork.

  • Examine documents to verify applicability, legibility, completeness, accuracy, and/or consistency of information from one document to another, etc.

  • Communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely, in writing and/or verbally; read and understand information presented in writing.

  • Perform comprehensive physical inspection of motor vehicles to verify the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).


Salary

Non-state employees are hired for this position at $19.68 an hour. We are unable to negotiate hourly wage amounts.


Qualifications

Minimum or "day-one" qualifications:



  • Experience in understanding processes and procedures and to apply those in day to day functions.

  • Experience with effectively communicating with a wide variety of people.
