Job summary

Korum Automotive Group is seeking a Service Advisor in Washington state. You will greet customers, collect vehicle information, and clearly report symptoms to determine necessary maintenance.

You’ll prepare cost estimates and monitor daily vehicle progress, updating customers and ensuring the final invoice matches the repair work performed. The ideal candidate has Ford dealership experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience at a Ford dealership is a plus and preferred.
• Ability to identify problems quickly and communicate clearly.
• Strong knowledge of automobiles and car maintenance basics.
• Proven record of delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Past service-advisor related roles or management exposure.
• Energetic and engaging personality.
• Interest in a long-term career with a growing organization.
• Personal and professional integrity is required.
• Proficient in computer skills; willingness to learn new software.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures.
• Minimum of 1 year in a service department.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, friendly attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and gather vehicle information.
• Obtain customer and vehicle details for service processing.
• Report all symptoms clearly as described by the customer.
• Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history.
• Prepare accurate labor and parts cost estimates.
• Set follow-up times and monitor progress of vehicles.
• Update customers on status and progress throughout the day.
• Verify final invoice matches work performed on the repair order.
• Explain completed work and charges to customers.
