Job summary

FastTek Global in Troy, MI seeks an energetic Body Systems Static/Dynamic Sealing Engineer to join our growing team. You will develop and evaluate static and dynamic sealing components and systems across the organization to meet performance, cost, mass and manufacturability targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (ABET) and 5+ years of vehicle design experience related to sealing. Strong communication and collaboration with internal teams and suppliers are essential for

Qualifications

Must have 5+ years of vehicle design experience related to static and dynamic sealing.
Knowledge of design considerations required for robust cabin sealing performance.
Excellent communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

Be an integral part of an energetic team that's challenging the status quo of vehicle design.
Responsible for the development of sealing components and systems.
Develop and implement functional objectives to meet project performance targets.
Manage all aspects of sealing components and systems to meet project requirements including performance, cost, mass, timing, manufacturability, etc.
Lead collaboration between internal/external teams and suppliers to meet all project requirements.
