Job summary

dorle-controls-llc seeks an energetic, organized Body Sealing Engineer to join our growing team. The Sealing Engineer will develop and evaluate static and dynamic sealing components and systems across the organization.

You will lead collaboration between internal/external teams and suppliers to meet project requirements, and manage performance, cost, mass, timing, and manufacturability considerations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited

Qualifications

ABET-accredited mechanical engineering degree required.
5+ years of vehicle design experience in static and dynamic sealing.
Knowledge of design considerations for robust cabin sealing performance.
Excellent communication and team-building skills.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and evaluate static and dynamic sealing components and systems.
Lead the development of functional objectives to meet project performance targets.
Manage all aspects of sealing components and systems to meet project requirements including performance, cost, mass, timing, manufacturability.
Lead collaboration between internal/external teams and suppliers to meet all project requirements.
Be an integral part of an energetic team that's challenging vehicle design.
