Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead to supervise a team in the Inspection Center in Hoffman Estates, IL. You will ensure production targets are met while upholding quality and safety standards, coaching associates, and coordinating with the GM on inventory decisions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrated understanding of reconditioning processes and lean principles.
• Valid driver license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the assigned team; identify strengths and opportunities; coach and develop.
• Provide coaching and feedback; demonstrate desired skills and ensure adherence to standards.
• Lead a team and partner with the Inspection Center GM to approve or reject inventory based on repair costs and quality.
• Train teammates on Quality Control standards to minimize re-checks and delays.
• Identify and complete repairs effectively the first time to minimize re-work.
• Maintain safety and reduce hazards; manage overtime and weekend work as needed.
