Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC is seeking a Quality Management Campaign Rework technician in Charleston, SC to process recall campaigns for vehicles that are accessible to the plant. You will perform tests, fault analyses, and document repairs to ensure vehicle functionality before delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in vehicle rework or related fields and ASE certifications or equivalent experience, with hands-on work across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in vehicle rework or related field.
• ASE certifications or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Install/replace major assemblies per drawings or WIS; perform tests.
• Conduct vehicle rework, fault analysis, document faults, and replace parts.
• Create processing documentation and record serial numbers.
• Train employees for launches or cross-site recalls.
• Test vehicle functions after work; diagnose and fix faults.
• Perform test drives to evaluate vehicle behavior.
• Use diagnostic tools to check ECUs and document issues.
• Support assembly during series introduction and create docs.
• Attend team meetings and perform other duties.
