Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Vans LLC in Ladson, South Carolina is seeking a Quality Campaign Rework Technician to process recall campaigns for vehicles at the plant, ensuring campaigns Prio 1–3 are completed before delivery. You will handle major assemblies, wiring, diagonstics, and documentation on vehicle rework.

You will perform vehicle rework, fault analysis, and use diagnostic tools to read and rectify issues. Training teammates and maintaining detailed process records are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years relevant experience in vehicle rework, vehicle technology or similar positions.
• ASE certifications or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install/replace major assemblies per drawings or WIS.
• Perform wiring/piping and function tests.
• Create processing documentation with serial numbers and steps.
• Train employees for new launches or recalls.
• Test vehicle functions after work and diagnose faults.
• Document remedial actions and initiate improvements.
• Support assembly during series introduction and documentation.
• Attend regularly scheduled team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
