Compensation

Hourly base pay rate is $16.15 - $24.23/hour. The hourly base rate may vary based on location, skills, and experience. Position may include additional compensation such as commissions or incentives.

Job Description

Job Duties
  1. Perform data entry of charges and verify accuracy before vehicle sale.
  2. Maintain documentation and verify invoices against work orders for correctness.
  3. Respond to inquiries regarding parts and vehicle repairs, providing quality service and problem resolution.
  4. Communicate daily with departments and management to ensure all information is received and posted timely.
  5. Submit estimates via email to relevant accounts.
  6. Keep updated on account contracts related to posting.
  7. Record payroll information for shop employees.
  8. Follow all safety procedures, participate in safety activities, and demonstrate safety commitment.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  10. Work overtime as needed based on business requirements.

Work Shift:

  • Monday - Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of clerical or administrative experience in the automotive industry preferred.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills required.
  • Basic computer skills necessary.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and lead others.
  • Self-managed and proactive.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing stairs, and reaching.
  • Prolonged sitting or standing, repetitive data entry, manual dexterity required.
  • Vision abilities including close, distance, and depth perception.

Drug Testing

Pre-employment drug test required; Cox Automotive does not test for marijuana but maintains a drug-free workplace where illegal drug use during work hours or on company property is prohibited.

Benefits

Minimum of sixteen hours paid time off monthly, seven paid holidays, and additional leave options such as bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer, military, and parental leave.
