Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 computer using a handheld computer (Portable Terminal - PT) or provide information via headset to a co-worker for data entry for each vehicle received at the Auction, including:
   • Vehicle Identification number (VIN)
   • Stock number
   • Dealer identification number
   • Make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc.
2. Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
3. Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry. Flag "no key" cars.
4. Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone. Report transport damage as needed.
5. Take digital images of vehicles upon receipt.
6. Provide proper sale identification windshield code to the driver of each vehicle through the registration/check-in area.
7. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling related behaviors.
8. Collaborate with safety leadership to support all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor, such as assisting on sale days by driving vehicles through Auction sales lanes.

Qualifications:

Work Schedule: Mon - Fri 12pm to 9pm (rotating Saturdays)

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for the proper check-in and outside registration of customer vehicles for Auction sale.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Less than 2 years' experience in a related field
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions
• Basic computer skills
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, climb, and lift 1-15 pounds
• Vision abilities including close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience

Compensation:

Hourly rate: $14.71 - $22.12, potentially variable based on location and candidate skills. Additional compensation may include commissions or incentives.

Benefits:

Minimum of 16 hours of paid time off per month, 7 paid holidays, and additional leave options such as bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer, military, and parental leave.
