Job summary

Cox Enterprises in Bordentown, NJ seeks a Warehouse/Check-In Associate to input vehicle data into the SECURE Application using a Zebra TC75x handheld device. You will record VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color, and install GPS trackers as required.

Responsibilities include affixing barcodes, routing labels, flagging no-key cars, guiding transporters, reporting damage, and upholding Safety Excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or less than 2 years related work experience.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving duties.
• Basic computer skills to input data accurately.
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, lift and handle objects.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the SECURE Application using a Zebra TC75x handheld device.
• Capture VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage and color.
• Install GPS trackers as required and remove license plates for processing.
• Affix barcode/stock stickers, place routing labels, and flag no-key cars.
• Direct transporters to drop zones and report any transport damage.
• Adhere to Safety Excellence through all procedures and assist during busy sale days.
• Cross-train to support check-in duties as needed by the EPII team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Input accurate vehicle information into the SECURE Application using a handheld computer (Zebra TC75x) for each vehicle received at the Auction:
  
  
  
  • Vehicle Identification number (VIN)
  
  
  • Stock number
  
  
  • Dealer identification number
  
  
  • Make, model, year, mileage, color, etc.
  
  
  • Install GPS trackers in OBII Port or with Metal security cable.
  
  
  • Remove license plates and document them.
  
  
  
  


• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.


• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.


• Flag \"no key\" cars.


• Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone.


• Report transport damage as needed.


• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.


• In the event that extra help is needed by our EPII team we will require this role to cross train for check-in and provide assistance when needed.


• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e. assist on sale days driving vehicles through Auction sales lanes, etc.


• May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred, OR less than 2 years of related work experience.


• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.


• Basic computer skills required.


• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.


• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.


• Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.


• Vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Preferred:

• 1 – 3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience preferred.


• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.


• Moderate noise level.
