Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a Supervisor, Vehicle Operations Support to lead a team delivering high-quality auction operations and client experiences. You will supervise staff, oversee onboarding, and schedule Virtual Block Specialists across regions to meet auction needs.

Ideal candidates will drive performance, process improvements, and compliance, collaborating with auction leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure efficient operations and strong service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a related field. Alternative combos include Bachelor's degree with 3 years, Master's with 1 year, or Ph.D. with up to 1 year.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and manage employee performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with auction leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop team members through regular performance check-ins and feedback.
• Administer corrective and disciplinary actions per policies.
• Track KPIs, identify trends, and implement improvement strategies.
• Lead leadership discussions and performance review meetings.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful work environment and model company values.
• Oversee onboarding and training for new hires.
• Coordinate weekly scheduling of staff to meet auction needs, considering time zones and overtime.
• Manage regional scheduling of Virtual Block Specialists and cross-region coverage.
• Identify operational issues with leadership and drive client-experience improvements.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for cross-functional workstreams.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, Safety, Security, and other partners for efficient processes.
