Responsibilities

• Input vehicle information into the AS400 system using a TC-75 handheld, including VIN, stock number, dealer ID, and make, model, year, mileage, color, options.
• Affix barcode/stock number stickers to arriving vehicles.
• Apply work order numbers and routing labels to vehicles.
• Identify and flag vehicles with no key.
• Direct transporters to designated vehicle drop zones.
• Inspect and report transport damage as required.
• Provide proper sale identification windshield codes.
• Remove personal information from vehicles and reset navigation data to protect privacy.
• Maintain basic fit tunnel cleanliness and report equipment issues.
• Support safety initiatives and assist with ongoing operational duties, including driving vehicles through auction lanes on sale days.

Position Summary

Schedule for this position is: Sun-Thurs, 10am-6:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a handheld device (TC-75), including:
  • VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
  • Stock number
  • Dealer ID
  • Make, model, year, mileage, color, options
• Affix barcode/stock number stickers to each vehicle upon arrival
• Apply work order numbers and routing labels to vehicles
• Identify and flag “no key” vehicles
• Direct transporters to designated vehicle drop zones
• Inspect and report transport damage as required
• Provide proper sale identification windshield codes

Data Protection & Vehicle Preparation

• Remove and clear all personal information from vehicles, including documents, saved contacts, and identifiable items
• Reset or remove navigation system data (addresses, history, Bluetooth pairings, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding customer data privacy and security

Facility & Equipment Support

• Perform basic fit tunnel maintenance, including:
  • Keeping the area clean and organized
  • Reporting equipment issues or malfunctions
  • Assisting with routine upkeep to ensure operational efficiency

Safety & Team Support

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following all safety procedures and guidelines
• Support Safety Excellence initiatives and work with leadership on safety activities
• Assist with additional operational duties as assigned, including:
  • Driving vehicles through auction lanes on sale days

Minimum Qualifications

• Saturday-Wednesday 10:00 am- 6:30 pm

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of auction or vehicle registration experience
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
