Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is hiring for an on-site role in the US, with starting pay of $16/hour and a schedule of Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm and Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm. The job involves operating and moving vehicles on the lot to support auction activities and ensure accurate inventory tracking.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old with a valid license, and the ability to drive various makes/models.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets requirements.
• Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes.
• Automotive or auction experience preferred; proficiency with computer systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Lot Coordination: Guide drivers to ensure correct vehicles are moved and staged efficiently.
• Workflow Monitoring: Monitor workflow across the lot and provide direction as needed.
• Safe Operations: Operate motor vehicles safely with conservative, courteous driving.
• Operational Support: Move, stage, and park vehicles of varying makes and sizes in designated areas.
• Inventory Accuracy: Scan parked vehicles in the Internal Tracking system to maintain inventory.
• Technical Support: Jump-start vehicles using a battery box as required.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain safe work areas and report hazards.
• Policy Adherence: Follow company policies and applicable laws.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
