Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a Lot Driver to operate motor vehicles on and off the premises to support car auction activities. This role involves moving, staging, and parking vehicles to maintain smooth auction flow.

The position offers a pay range of $16.50–$17.00 per hour, a Monday–Friday schedule, and shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30/4:00 PM. A clean background and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to work outdoors under any type of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas, pick up and deliver vehicles while observing auction driving rules and safe driving principles.
• Drive assigned vehicles through auction lanes on sale day.
• Verify VIN of cars being picked up or delivered against transportation requests.
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by the Lot Manager or supervisor.
• Inflate tires and jump-start vehicles if needed using battery box and air tank.
• Fill the gas tank when the vehicle is out of gas.
• Assist customers such as dealers, account reps, and co-workers as needed.
• Perform walk-around each vehicle prior to moving and note damage.
