Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is hiring for an on-site Transportation/Vehicle Movement role in Framingham, MA. You will move and stage units on the lot to support auction activities, using safe driving practices and accurate inventory updates.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and a valid driver’s license. Automotive or auction experience is preferred, with proficiency in computer systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets the requirements.
• Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes.
• Automotive or auction experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Safe Operations: Always drive vehicles safely and with courtesy.
• Vehicle Staging: Support lot flow by positioning vehicles for sale days.
• Operational Support: Move, stage, and park diverse vehicles throughout the shift.
• Efficiency: Use alphanumeric ordering to place vehicles in designated spots.
• Inventory Tracking: Scan parked vehicles to update movement records.
• Maintenance: Jump-start vehicles using a battery box when needed.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe workspace and report hazards.
• Policy Adherence: Follow rules on accidents, injuries, and property damage.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
