Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a Transport Driver to move, stage, and park vehicles for car auctions. The role involves driving vehicles on and off the premises, verifying VINs, and coordinating with the Lot Manager to ensure orderly placement.

Open to individuals with a valid license and a clean driving record; duties include assisting customers and performing basic vehicle checks. This is a part-time position with defined weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to work outdoors under any type of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas, pick up and deliver vehicles while observing auction driving rules and safe driving practices.
• Drive assigned vehicles through auction lanes on sale day.
• Verify VIN of cars being picked up or delivered against transportation requests.
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by the Lot Manager or supervisor.
• Inflate tires and jump-start vehicles using a battery box and air tank if necessary.
• Fill the gas tank when the vehicle is out of gas.
• Assist customers such as dealers, account reps, and co-workers as needed.
• Perform walk-around inspections of each vehicle prior to moving it and note any damage.
