Job summary

Cox in Clearwater, FL seeks a Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist to manage vehicle transportation processes in a regional scope. You will verify statuses with pickup sites, correct master data, handle regional emails, and drive efficient order processing while maintaining high data accuracy.

Qualifications include 1–3 years administrative experience, strong Excel/Outlook/Word skills, and a valid driver's license. This is an on-site, full-time role with comprehensive PTO and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years administrative experience (in automotive industry preferred).
• Working knowledge of computer usage including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to work independently in a matrix environment to execute and deliver results.
• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills.
• High attention to detail including precise data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with a high sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and the ability to pass a background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Make real-time phone calls to verify vehicle status with pickup sites.
• Monitor and correct master data files for location errors.
• Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails.
• Request Hold Harmless/Releases
• Process Fees and post charges to records.
• Enter manual orders and process other AS400 orders.
• Investigate VIN carrier kickbacks to re-dispatch units.
• Manage escalated VINs with peers and agents.
• Monitor holds and verification delays.
• Negotiate dispatch and use sales tactics to increase margin.
• Use AutoIMS for delays, holds, cancellations, ETAs.
• Follow up with carriers on VINs daily.
• Hold carriers accountable to their plan.
• Create and manage corrective actions for vendors.
• Monitor order-entry failures and correct them.
• Understand margin relative to position and track margin requirements.
• Build relationship with Manheim Auction commercial team and management.
• Measure performance using analytics for clients and vendors.
• Report performance results to management and executives.
• Compile vehicle transportation data and generate reports.
• Follow all duties as directed by supervisor.
• Be an outside-the-box thinker who solves problems quickly.
