Job summary

Cox Automotive in the United States is seeking a Logistics Specialist I to support vehicle operations at a Cox location. The role involves data entry, vehicle condition verification, and coordinating drop-off and entry procedures for auction vehicles.

The position requires basic computer skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. On-site work environment with safety-focused duties and occasional driven tasks on sale days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred, OR less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system or relay data to data-entry staff.
• Record details: VIN, stock number, make, model, year, mileage, color, options.
• Affix barcode/stock stickers on vehicles for tracking.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles at entry.
• Direct transporters to the correct car drop zone and report any transport damage.
• Capture digital images of vehicles upon receipt and provide sale identifiers.
