United Road Services Inc in Romulus, MI, seeks an Operations Manager to support the Terminal Manager, lead terminal staff, and ensure safe, efficient operations while delivering superior service to customers. You will drive cost efficiency and coordination across shifts and stakeholders.

You will monitor regulatory compliance, optimize resources, and maintain equipment readiness to maximize terminal profitability and performance.

Competenze

Minimum four years of logistics experience preferably in a trucking environment, or two years of supervisory experience in finished vehicle transportation.
Strong oral and verbal communication skills.
Subject matter expert on FMCSA and DOT regulations.

Mansioni

Direct staff duties and supervise terminal operations.
Optimize costs, equipment utilization, and revenue.
Ensure on-time freight delivery and resolve issues.
Build positive customer and vendor relationships.
Oversee safety, Hours-Of-Service and CSA compliance.
Disseminate information to leadership on staffing, inventory, budget, and risks.
Ensure OEM inventories are accurate in OVISS and resolve discrepancies.
Other duties as assigned.
