Job summary

CarMax Urbandale, IA is seeking a Flow Inventory Associate to maintain our vehicle inventory and support a smooth customer experience. You’ll handle vehicle receiving and shipping, lot maintenance, merchandising, and photo uploads to ensure every car meets quality standards.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Reads, interprets, and transcribes data for inventory records.
• Completes workstation certifications and trainings.
• Abilities to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors/indoors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory per CarMax processes.
• Receive and secure vehicles and prepare title packets for transfers.
• Perform lot maintenance and merchandising to keep display areas neat.
• Prep vehicles for returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming.
• Execute photo station process for carmax.com listings.
• Move vehicles on/off lot for repairs, storage, and auction support.
• Follow EH&S requirements and keep a clean work area.
