Job summary

Cox is seeking a detail-oriented technician to verify vehicle information, inspect arrivals for damage, and document findings. You will perform day-end processing, maintain updated knowledge of procedures, and write electronic condition reports to support quality control.

The role requires strong communication, basic technical understanding, and the ability to multitask. Regular overtime may be needed, with a schedule Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Generally, less than 2 years of related experience.
• Safe driver’s license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle information and inspect vehicles at receipt for damage or missing parts.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation.
• Set up day-end system and perform day-end procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Write electronic condition reports (ECR).
• Conduct OVE courtesy walks around inspections.
• Maintain knowledge of system capabilities and relevant software/web-based apps.
• Stay informed on improvements related to body mechanical and inspection techniques.
• Demonstrate safety commitment and support Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned; overtime may be required.
