Job summary

Cox Communications, Inc. is seeking a diligent vehicle inspector to verify information, assess damage, and document findings for each customer vehicle at receipt. You will inspect interiors, exteriors, and key systems, noting discrepancies and ensuring accurate reporting.

The role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required based on business needs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Generally, less than 2 years of experience.
• Safe driver's license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Willingness to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle information based on work order; identify damage and mechanical problems by inspecting vehicles.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation.
• Set up system for day-end and perform day-end procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Write electronic condition reports (ECR).
• Conduct OVE courtesy walk around inspections.
• Maintain knowledge of system capabilities and job-relevant software.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• May work overtime as needed.
