Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking an Inspector Apprentice in Vehicle Operations. You will inspect incoming customer vehicles, verify information, identify damage, missing parts, and mechanical issues across interior, exterior, odometer, and engine compartments, and document findings.

Day shift, on-site role with hourly pay. You will prepare paperwork, assist with day-end procedures, maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies, safety practices, and system applications, and support continuous

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Typically less than 2 years of related experience.
Valid driver’s license required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

Verify vehicle information and inspect for damage, missing parts, and mechanical issues across interior, exterior, odometer, and engine compartments.
Prepare and complete all necessary documentation.
Set up day-end processes and perform day-end procedures.
Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
Write electronic condition reports (ECR).
Conduct OVE courtesy walks around inspections.
Maintain knowledge of system capabilities and relevant software.
Stay updated on body/frame/labor and inspection techniques.
Uphold safety and health procedures and participate in Safety Excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned.
May work overtime as business needs dictate.
