Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Inspector Apprentice to examine customer vehicles upon receipt, identifying damage and parts issues. You will document findings and perform day-end procedures while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of inspection systems and safety practices.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and organizational skills. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle information and inspect for damage at time of receipt.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation.
• Set up system for day-end; perform day-end procedures.
• Write electronic condition reports (ECR).
• Support safety activities and perform other duties as assigned.
