Job summary

DLA Careers is seeking a supervisor to direct and coordinate work operations at the San Joaquin distribution facility. You will oversee teams through supervisors, ensure production schedules are met, and optimize manpower and resources for safe, efficient performance.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, prioritizing tasks weekly to monthly, and ensuring adherence to policies. Roles require ability to obtain certifications and work across shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Assist with planning and organizing work activities for employees.
• Set goals and deadlines for accomplishing work; give instructions to employees on work procedures and safety.

Responsibilities

• Direct the accomplishment of assigned work operations within the limits of established policies and basic production schedules.
• Supervises workers through subordinate supervisors and/or leaders.
• Technically accountable for the work operations of an organizational segment.
• Plans, schedules, and prioritizes work assignments on a weekly to monthly basis for accomplishment.
• Analyzes work schedules, determines manpower, tooling, material requirements and methods to be used.
