Job summary

U.S. Secret Service, part of the Department of Homeland Security, seeks a Vehicle Fleet Specialist in the New York Field Office. You will lead and coordinate vehicle fleet operations, including procurement, leasing, and disposal, and will implement maintenance schedules and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and administer the Vehicle Fleet Operations Program.
• Review standard operating procedures and directives pertaining to government owned/leased vehicles.
• Establish maintenance schedules, ensure completion of accident reports, compile statistical reports on vehicle status and usage, and maintain files.
• Prepare contracts with manufacturers' representatives for leased vehicles in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical advice and assistance on all matters related to government owned/leased vehicle management.
