Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Vehicle Feature Owner to define and govern the functional intent of vehicle features throughout the development lifecycle. You will partner with Systems Engineering, Requirements Management, Architecture, Design Engineering, and Validation to translate customer needs into system requirements.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s in engineering, strong systems engineering fundamentals, and hands-on experience with requirements management tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in systems development, systems engineering, or product engineering.
• Strong understanding of system requirements, feature requirements, requirements decomposition, and traceability.
• Experience with DOORS, DOORS Next, and CodeBeamer for requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional definition of assigned vehicle features.
• Define feature behavior, performance expectations, and operating conditions.
• Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, and aligned with objectives.
• Act as the authoritative source for feature intent and system behavior.
• Collaborate across Systems Engineering, Requirements Management, Architecture, Design Engineering, and Validation.
