Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Subject Matter Expert for System Requirements Management to lead technical requirements activities across vehicle programs. You will evaluate feature changes, manage updates, and ensure requirements remain complete, consistent, and verifiable while coordinating with vehicle feature owners, architecture, design, and test teams.

The role includes front-end systems engineering, stakeholder-facing responsibilities, and mentoring a small team of Requirements

Qualifications

• Strong systems engineering knowledge and ability to lead requirements activities across domains.
• Ability to translate customer needs into system-level requirements and manage cross-functional dependencies.
• Experience guiding requirement reviews, change management, and verification activities.
• First-level people leadership or team lead experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate technical impacts of new vehicle features, modifications, and carry-over content.
• Provide technical direction to Requirements Engineers on updates and rework.
• Drive requirement reviews and release decisions as the technical authority for system content.
